Well, I have my doubts about that. This is only part one of this story. Also, this is a sequel to my main story Content of the Magic Box. It takes place roughly 20 years later. All of the side characters are the MC from Content of the Magic Box.

The great explosion I referred to in my story was the same thing as a nuke explosion. It released a corrupted mana on the world like radiation. Melwyn patched a flawed plan in a last-ditch attempt to contain the explosion by converting some of the mana absorbed into a crystal. But with little time given that was the best he could do. The explosion did affect all humans, and if exposed to corrupted mana humans undergo mutations, horrible ones.
