Asami brings up a really interesting, but tragic point of view when she says that others wouldn't interpret Sayuri's actions as heroic. I never even really considered that, but it shows how low her self image is, considering what she's gone through.

I totally support Sayuri's decisions all the way though, because Asami needs someone like that around. I'm glad Asami's attempts to sabotage their early relationship didn't work, which kinda' says A LOT about Sayuri too lol

The Banana/Manona crest thing is probably one of my favourite early jokes in the series. Ever since my first draft of the story that one has been in there. Like you mentioned, it was a cute way to add in some exposition. 🍌

You are correct that its an inside out Earth! Their planet does have a proper surface as well, as Yalda will bring up too. The Gundam space colony is one of the inspirations for this actually, since I remember seeing pictures of it all over when doing research.

Just looked up "The Girl on a Space Colony" and I absolutely love it now!🎵

Thanks for pointing out the Paradina typo! Also, as far as the "Kinda'" apostrophe goes, I've actually been a bit inconsistent with that. In recent times I've actually been keeping the apostrophe off, since my writing program does apparently recognize it as a proper word now (I think?). But I usually try to add it there anyways. I would say add it in though, just to be safe.

Also, glad your learning new vocab! And I'm glad you enjoy the world building! I love crafting this world and adding details to it all the time. 🌎🧱👷‍♂️

When I originally wrote this, I didn't plan to post it on Honeyfeed, so I thought it was funny that the bee theme just happened to fit in 😂🐝

The kit bash feel is definitely justified, since I pretty much put in what I want depending on if I think it serves the story in a good way. The trick is to flesh out the details as the things go on and cement it all as a part of the world. So as far as the periodic table and other chemistry/science related themes, expect a bunch more in the near future! ⚗️🧪

You may find a few more Video game references as the story goes on😉 Some are more obvious than others.

I'm actually surprised and flattered you enjoy the details! I always thought that I should probably be more descriptive, since a bunch of web novels I've read spend entire paragraphs on one object in a room alone (Or as you said, can just breeze over stuff way too quickly). My thing about details like that is that I like to describe items that are unique to their world or not common in our real world. But I totally agree that those details help the reader feel like their more in the moment and give them time to process things!

There'll be a little more on mana in the next few chapters, but I think you bring up a good question in regards to the mechanics behind the relationship of food and mana. I do have an explanation for it, but I'll see if the next few chapters answer your question. I'll make a note of that! 🍎
