Big congrats on being the first contest entry to hit 1000 views! This was an interesting opening. Starting with a stalker is a bold choice, especially for a romance novel. It'll be interesting to see what kind of trouble Akari gets herself in, and how she gets out of it. (If you saw my previous comment, ignore it, I had thought because of the last sentence of the chapter that the stalker was the love interest until I read the synopsis lol)

Just as with Toki and Ryou, Fujiko’s name is built through kanji with respect to her powers

Denka in this case is spelled 電家, with the first character meaning “electricity” and the second being the -ka ending added to a lot of professions or practices (mangaka, judoka, karateka etc), so it’s sort of meant to mean “practitioner of electricity”

Denka is sort of like the Japanese equivalent of “highness” or “majesty,” hence the princess title.

Fujiko is spelled 婦磁子
The first character means wife (because she and Toki used to shack up).
The second character is for magnetism, which goes hand in hand with electricity
The last character is just the -ko ending common in girls names

Interesting first chapter, I can see this premise going to good places. Also the opening quip about landlords is genuinely one of the funniest things I've seen on this platform.

Quick question, is Chi's name supposed to be the Japanese 血 or the Greek χ? Or something else entirely? I would guess the first option since they're vampires but it had me wondering, especially as anime characters being named after Greek letters is a very common trope

Gotta respect the balls on the man for just saying it straight like that.

Tsukishiro means white moon and mikazuki means crescent moon iirc. Wondering if the moon is gonna become a recurring theme in the story. Also curious to hear if there’s symbolism behind their first names (maybe that Hajime is called that because this is the beginning of his career?)
