Mia has faded out a little bit, but that's why I wanted to focus so much on her growth and change -- how she stood up against the duke, and how her life is starting to change now due to these events (one day I imagine her becoming her own businesswoman, maybe owning and overseeing multiple farms.)
I didn't want Mia to only exist for Roki. Which is why Roki ended up playing a much smaller role in the festival events (originally I was going to have him buy the house with his hair and call it done, but that meant he literally solved all of Mia's problems by him simply existing, and Mia didn't have any agency in the story at all. And so, well, the festival happened instead!! 🤣)
