Oh man I love gang beasts!!! That absolutely silly, falling-over physics is EXACTLY what the Jan-replacement is doing 👀 complete with horrifying laughter maybe? 🤣 honestly I can still hear the laugh tracks from gang beasts. Story wise, I wanted closure for Jun and Amamiya, since they were the original couple that started this whole thing...and although Jun said goodbye to Mia, he never really made his parting with Ama-chan. So I wanted to wrap that up before this novel ends <333 Saturday's chapter will be interesting, I promise you 😉 and we'll get some crazy maid outfit drawings too~ ❤️

Amamiya closure was a necessary step 😭 I know it might've drawn out the ending a little bit, but I thought it would be sad not to talk to her at least once before this novel ended...considering she was the whole reason this story began.

AMAMIYA IS HERE! Honestly, I meant to bring her back so much sooner. I always wanted her to show up again...because we never really got to hear her side of things. 🧐

Jun's had to basically break up with both Mia and Amamiya in the span of maybe a few hours (in-story time)? The poor guy. But he knows who he loves now, which is why his realization of "Oh...I'm in love with Claire." was so important a few chapters ago. (Without that realization I think these last few chapters would have broken him 😭)

...Claire was hoping. Just a little. She was hoping. She didn't think he would. But she wanted to leave that chance. Maybe some part of her hoped he might ❤️ and that part of her is about to cry when he actually shows up.

I will always love an Ami chapter but nooo 😭😭😭 I don't get to see if arm-bitten Souma survives yet.

Also. Ruka getting back up and owning that incident? 👀 Powerful. Beautiful. Honestly low key shipping AmiRuka now, like, that's some combination CHEMISTRY right there.

Tenka though 😌 he can go back to earth any time 👍 you've made him brilliantly dislikable.

Ooooh what's this evil little voice whispering in Ami's ear though? Her own thoughts? Or...part of her 'Hero' skill twisting her towards doing "what's best" for her goal of killing the demon lord? 👀

Damn though like. The social disagreement in this chapter was spot on. Masterful, even. I honestly would love to see your take on writing something Battle Royale, or more horror/survival. Because like. Just damn. This is good.

I see from the other comments that you're debating dealing with the contest time constraints. I'm going to go on a limb here and say something, and I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but: I'd love to see this become its own novel outside of the contest. I don't think it's really in the "wholesome romance" prompt, and I would hate to see it get held back by the Aug 31st deadline. The level grind time!!! 🤣 No LitRPG is complete without it. Honestly the Restrain skill seems really useful here! But unlike JRPGs the enemies here don't just disappear and turn into exp 😭 I admit I'd be bothered by that too. (And only 4 exp for all that?! This world setting is rough, but I kind of like that for a layer of realism.)

I like the parallel though, of Selina thinking "humans were evil" and realizing Souma barely wants to fight...and Souma also thinking "demon lords are evil" and realizing Selina is more bark than bite. (Though I dunno, with how much Selina likes hunting 🤣 she might shape up to become a threat one day)

OH SHOOT MUCH WORSE ENEMY 😱 Adjfhskdjsk souma just got a CHUNK taken out of him!!! This is like a wave of boss enemies out of nowhere! And he's using Restrain till he coughs up blood like...like... 😱😱😱 Might this be the one story that kills off the MC? Was Souma MC bait?

You're still picking up on my hints 👍 I didn't want the Void Champions to be "heartless" or evil, they're more of a neutral force that tries to be neither good nor bad (they just want fate to proceed as normal.) So I'll get to go into this more here in the final arc, where yes indeed, we will be chasing Claire into...well...beyond space/time 👀 I'll have to do a bit of broad detailing to give an idea of the Void Champions, without going too in-depth for sake of the story's scope. But I'm honestly excited to show more of that part of the story!
