Disturbing content? ๐ I'm preparing myself.
Introductions for the friends who are already long friends ๐คฃ somehow both amusing and yet, sad. Charlie is slowly dropping details hoping to spark something, anything, from the four siblings.
Charlie: Theatreux. The definitely not ridiculous kingdom name [cough] I mean. Nothing.
I actually really like the name btw!! :D it seems very fitting for a nation ruled by a dude obsessed with entertainment ๐ the taxes must be crazy high and all that money goes right into building...a new amusement park!!
If this world wasn't so frighteningly dystopia around the edges, damn I'd love to visit. The Spectacular Theory sounds SO COOL. Like the World Fair but with Magic!!!
...okay wait nvm ๐ฅฒ I take it back I don't want to go. the festival turned into a vampire zombie outbreak. I wonder how much of this is accurate? Considering Charlie warned a lot of it would be a lie, but certainly this part seems to emotionally affect him, so it's got to be based in truth.
Oooh so that's when Vampires became "known" to the world. And maybe it was Horace that caused that madness to happen ๐ค for some reason, Horace didn't want vampires to be in hiding anymore. Maybe?
Also as for trigger warning level, I'd say that yes this does go into *some* deeper gore here, but only briefly and in a fairly "separated" retelling of the event. (It's not like you went into the backstory and gave a graphic play-by-play of the events.)
I would say putting:
"Trigger Warning: Mentions of violence / large attack event." In the top of the chapter would be good ๐ even that might be more than necessary, but I lean on the side of caution.
