Honestly, I always wanted to include a merfolk, but I needed to keep the number of fantasy races in Farelle to a minimum just to not open too many plot holes xD So she got to be a world breaker instead!!! (#TeamMerfolk)

Claire can definitely change things 🤔 so who can say what Jun is right now~?
But I am a really big fan of infinite stars and incomprehensible realities 😆 so my tastes are showing here. I've mentioned the vastness of the void before, but this is our first real exploration of this infinite-realm beyond spacetime. Honestly, I could probably write an entire novel about the World Breaker existence...but this Light Novel, as always, is a balancing act xD I'm hoping to capture a piece of this beyond-world and spark imaginations 🤩

Honestly I have to remind myself of that sometimes too 😆 since like, yep, on the inside Jun is just a fairly Normal Dude, but I keep thinking of him as a Dork Elf now.
But finally the conclusion to the fight 👍 where I wanted to show that fighting wasn't really the answer, and all it would get them is bruised arms and bruised egos 🤦‍♂️ and still not the outcomes they actually wanted.
Things will start to shift here in the next few chapters, the winds of change are on their way~ ❤️

Honestly I'm really glad to hear that this chapter makes you think of Jun as a good person, and that you totally get the work-separation rift 😞💔 that was exactly the vibe I was trying to capture here.
Jun was trying his best to do what he thought was "right" in the relationship, but didn't stop to think about the consequences. And Amamiya, well, she wasn't always communicating her feelings, so their relationship was going to drift apart eventually :(
I wanted a more realistic reason for their break-up and tried to fit those details in (it's been tricky to get across the concept with limited word count, but I'm trying! :D) Hopefully now 🤣 Jun will learn not to repeat those mistakes!

I always wanted to bring Amamiya back, but you're right about word constraints 😂 I didn't have time to fit in a full "Return to Earth" arc, so blending Amamiya's appearance with the "answer to finding Claire" was my plan. I realize it's been a lot of partings in a row, but I don't like leaving loose ends 🤣 now everything's neatly tied up and we're going after Claire!!
(Fake-Jun has been bumbling about for a whole month 👀 and to be honest I'm tempted to write a whole joke chapter about his ridiculous exploits. The world was still out to kill Jun during this time. Imagine how many truck-kuns ran into Fake-Jun and yeeted him across the street, just for him to get up, wipe off the blood, and whistle his merry way to work.)

You know, I didn't even really think about it from Amamiya's POV 😂 but you're totally right.
Her ex is literally stumbling into walls because of their breakup, then he starts acting like someone else entirely, and then HE UNDERSTANDS A NONSENSE LETTER AND RUNS OFF AFTER IT 😂😂😂 #JunJoinedACultForSure

Okay more realistically, I'm going to say Claire used some of her "calming" magic to make Amamiya accept this weirdness without questioning it too deeply 🤣

...But yes, some small part of Claire held out hope that Jun would follow after her ❤️ just the smallest part.

I wanted to take an approach that was more: "Yes, I still like you. But no, I don't think we should be together romantically." Because Amamiya and Jun both want different things for their futures. They'd probably *like* each other more now, since Jun has undergone his training with Claire 😭 which does make me a little sad that they couldn't have that second chance. But I think their futures will be better this way!

Ahaha in any busy city people will see someone having a breakdown on the sidewalk and go "nope" 😂 sad but true(?) At least here though, if you're having a genuine medical problem, people will call for medical help which is nice!
