So is this the "price" of the Digiscape then? That these people arent actually real? That is sad tho. They're just copies, and the real people already died and never actually enjoyed a digital afterlife. That director has a LOT of more explanations to do 💀 and Blackheart/Songbird too. With all these clues in the chapter, im definitely sticking to my theory that they're Aki who somehow got her personalities split for now👍

To anyone wondering, a meteorite actually did hit someone’s house in Alabama in 1954. It’s called the Sylacauga meteorite and you can look up the extra details if you want! Not really necessary though. All you should know is that it exists!

Olga has the easiest job in the world: sit and do nothing. Honestly a forgiving task for a child like her, although she probably feels uncomfortable about it (i don't understand her, but the way she squirmed says everything) Vanessa is pretty smart knowing how to put those two into good and fair use lol

I’d like to keep the alt history nice and simple and give the idea that one person changed the world during a time of instability, leading to a cyberpunk world today 👍

And yeah, it was either an extra long chapter with action, or an exposition chapter with some build up. I did try to build up some suspense at the end there but I’ll take a ding if that doesn’t count lol.
Its a preference of mine to keep all chapters in a consistent word count. Hopefully some of the faster, more action-packed chapters will make it up for slower ones like this 👍

You know things starts going down when suddenly boss/dark ambience music starts playing out of nowhere 😭😭 But GODDAM that went from 0 to 100 fast

Black robes, witchy vibes, iconic slow walking as her debut... im getting some Rezero vibes, especially Satella, considering she and Emilia look so much alike, which I can see with Songbird/Blackheart. But Blackheart is probably not as friendly after declaring that death threat as her first lines 💀
