I like to call myself a world builder, and if you like deep hidden lore and expansive worlds, maybe you'll like my stories. I'm still very new to storytelling. this chapter was surprisingly easy for me to write, but it is still a slightly different style to what i usually do so there is some internal blockage if you know what i mean lol. i actually would really like to know how you like this style compare to my usual description filled ones as well!

By time point, whenever I see a name I dont recognize I just go and search it up lol, and Janus is a two faces creature, I wonder if later on he fits the door description as well. A Krampus kidnapping a kid is also very funny

I will probably have another hiatus after this, I have an idea how how I want to continue this story and the ending I want for it but I would like to have as much of a plan as I had for these 2 chapters before I go and repeat the write a word delete 2 again lol. Thanks for the patience

Didnt consider that, I’m not too familiar with christianty / gnostic lore but i did read some(cough cough binging fear and hunger therory cough cough) before and I do recall that being important.

Did some googling and yalda seems to be something important as well but cant see how its related before the light and dark theme so far…

Its all very interesting! The world seems very well thought out and the names are all very fitting(Samuel isnt the beat name imo, but thats a nitpick).

The uncle being an actual bee was a suprise though, didn’t expect him to be an actual one.

In your Luna novel, you had some interesting use of mytho, I wonder how it would be use in a scifi setting.

I’m glad you like this chap! this is one of the scenes that I had wanted to write for so long. There was originally a bit more onto who he is that I had written out when i was still writing nymphaea but it felt weird when put with the rest of the chapter. The only thing that I think is word to word is “hair stained pink by blood” or whatever I wrote lol. His sword has a name as well, I dont know if I’ll give it in future chapters but if I dont, itll be in the comments on the last chapter

Not exactly Sping herself but a little piece of her. This story goes a lot more into the gods of my world(same as nymphaea but with the isekai bit taken out as it was only added to fit the contest’s need lol)

Next chapter when i get to it will go in a little to explain what that was and I really want to see if anyone gets who I’m referencing the girl at the end. It’s quite niche so I do get that not everyone knows it

Thanks so much reading through this little almost experimental story of mine! Even though I’m stepping down from this piece, I definitely didn’t regret working on it, I learned a lot writing this :3

And I’m sorry about your sick family member, I hope they’ll get well soon, or since thats a year ago, I hope they’ve been well for a long time lol. I did notice your other story, and have been wanting to read it but didn’t really have the time or motivation to but I do want to give it a read as soon as possible!

Funny thing is that I’ll be moving again very soon again lol. I went to Canada for school but I’ve also had been applying for us greencard for a while and it finally got approved(not accepted yet since I still need to do health checkups and send in some other documents), soo there’s that :3

If your are a returning reader, you might have read Nymphaea, given that's my only other novel on here. I am abandoning that project, it had really stressed me out since it wasn't something I'd really like to write to begin with, just something that I wiped up for the contest last summer. And I had tried a few times to edit it as I had wanted but every time I do, I just get stuck. That's why I probably wont be going back to it any time soon, and I hope you understand :3

More on Mia and Toren(still got the names >:3), nice!! Though kinda short and more on the stand-alone side, I enjoyed it!
And I'll look forward to your new novels / stories, either on webnovel sites or as an actual book, but it sounds like it might be a while before any new updates...

Now onto the contest, it's kinda sad Love Sorceress didn't win, it's honestly my fav one on the top 10, though there's only a couple that I've actually read though to the end...

Reading this bonus chapter reminded me how much I loved the tiny hint of magic system you hinted at the end, the way you described shapes being used still felt really unique and I've been kinda introducing an altered form of it in my own worldbuilding (might give hints or maybe even show directly in future Nymphaea chapters)

Right now, with new responsibilities and some distractions(genshin / oldschool runescape) taking up a good chuck of my time, I'm kinda uninspired when it comes to writing or even just sitting down and read..
But I did finish rewriting chapter 1 of nym well like 2 hours ago and I got a lot to say on it, but don't wanna just turn your comment section into a big self promo so I'll leave it to my page ;3
