Once MC communes with trees, I expect we'll get some tree becoming a new love interest in the story. That would be the dumbest yet funniest thing.

In any case, I'm still in shock over how intriguing the simplicity of this story can be. In some sense, it is giving me more and more Spy X Family vibes lately, perhaps because of the numerous character connections and hidden identities.

Anyway, if this were a Visual Novel, Toren would likely be the "True Ending"
😂 Makes you forget about Claire and Mia altogether. In any case, this story is unfolding pretty wildly so far; I'm not seeing it ending anytime soon

"Comic relief"-chan and her mother are such a pain 😂

On most novels I'm reading on this platform, I'd have long complained about the lack of action, and yet here you are, making even the most simple moments captivating. But honestly, now, this feels more slice-of-life than any other genre you've added (not that I would complain, this would be one of the few slice-of-life stories I enjoy). This story does deserve an anime adaptation.

PS: what does "sagely moronic" even mean 😆 (no, please don't explain, it's a rhetorical question)

PS 2: Madam Claire is a money-making machine... this could have been a novel in its own right 😅

I find it so funny that the brother cursed in 2 languages during a crisis, but I assume there is a place where people do that. Also, how does 179.9cm - 177cm get to be 3 inches? The characters are still vaguely built into my mind at this point; I can only tell they are very different from each other, making me expect a contrasting dynamic, yet based on trust and loyalty. It reminds me of the leading trio in Promised Neverland.

Quite catchy so far, good intro, and the scary note is nicely intertwined with the funny (tickling) and the sad (crying for the deceased granny). I find the present tense a bit annoying and unusual for this kind of novel.

At this point in the story, I have no idea what could happen next, so let's see 😆 But I think it would have been an opportunity to introduce the brother in a bit more detail

Nice to see Nana so early into the story. I thought I'd have to go through the entire novel till we met her. Or is it a trap? 🤔 Feels fishy that he's only allowed to talk to her for such a short time.

The dialogue of our girl feels so complex it's hard to believe she's just 9yo, lol. I also don't get why it's a call, but then it's email later on.

Did this chapter lose the spacing between paragraphs for some reason?

"magic and potions" - steroids without side effects, lol.

Sometimes "telling" instead of "showing" is a bit of a turn-off for me as a reader, for example, calling Olivia jealous as a narrator instead of letting me imagine it based on the action. Also, too much emphasis on that might make the character uni-dimensional.

"Still need how to learn how" - 2 hows - I usually use Grammarly or something similar to avoid wasting time finding typos in my writing.

The storytelling is nice and catchy as always, but it still makes me read diagonally since some explanations are a bit over-detailed and don't add anything to the story. But it's funny seeing those kids getting bored to death at the magic lecture 😆

It feels strange to see how most people, except MC and his friend, didn't care about them being thrown into a new world. The knight seems like an honorable guy, but is he indeed? In any case, things seem to get tough for the kids sooner than I expect.

So far, pretty captivating story. I hope to see more action or character development in the following chapters.

The more we dive into the story, the more unpredictable and mysterious it becomes. Our MC's evolution is also very captivating to follow. Many people struggle with not knowing what others are feeling, so it's a good lesson for them to read. I'm now starting to question, though: Why is MC even in love with Mia? If he turns from the extreme where he did HAD to the extreme, he becomes a pleaser, is their relationship going to be any better?
