Haruhi not being able to talk his way out of this, despite max ikemen points. 😭
Just take control of the situation so no dumb Q&A is done by the dad. Imagine if Haruhi kept going on about how great he was and how much Ichika is attracted to him, he would sound believable as the asshole boyfriend that a father is convinced to be wary of. 😅
