I never actually confirmed this in writing somewhere, since the actually numbers aren't meant to really mean anything but be exaggerations of min and max. However, I imagined that he would gain like 1 to the stat every 5 levels or so. Which means by level 100, he would have the strength and magic of... a normal commoner, lol. Unfortunately, Claude still has the attack force of a toddler now. 😂

#1 - What's funny is that I didn't really even consider all the points that you are making until I see them. I've always been a discovery writer that goes off of vibes, so it feels like sometimes I imbed things that I don't even realize 😅

#2 - I just imagine that Ice magic condenses the water vapor in the ambient area, and it vaporizes back over time....or, forget the laws of physics and obey the laws of isekai 😆

I think this beginning reflects a lot of how I felt writing it - a lack of confidence in what the MC (and me) can do. When you start off with expectations of greatness, everything you are able to do just feels mediocre. And you end up falling in a lull of just acting "average".

So it's just him feeling out the world for now. Which in my view, felt a bit slow and slice of lifey.

And who wouldn't find humor in being bonked by a giant radish? 😂
