Thanks for the positive review and all your comments so far. I'm glad you are enjoying it. One bit of a heads up though. Vol 2 is quite different. It seems like I irked some people with a major plot twist. I'm hoping that doesn't deter you or anyone else, who felt very strongly about how the plot temporarily messed with their heads.

Point noted. I've had the same suggestion from reviews on a different site. I've already written up to chapter 13 in this way, but I started taking it out at chapter 14.
Well, the MC is still grounded in the reality of his old world, where old timers don't give off a physical aura of dread even when they are tough as nails. He probably also doesn't want to admit to himself that he is getting wrecked by someone 3x his age.
