I was focused on the final line of the chapter. Maybe I read too much into it. 🤔
The fact that the gynoid wants Sprout to carry the nuke makes me wonder if it came to the village for a specific reason. Particularly since she's been just a bystander amid what's happened, I haven't seen any reason for her being volunteered for the ultimate hot potato.
The lady makes me think of a vault dweller from Fallout who has kind of started losing her sense of humanity. Better change that stress meter to an Insanity one. I get the feeling that the people here are just a bit loony and Jiro should nope the F out, lmao.
