Glad you noticed. I was trying to make the narration fell dull during the reality segment to mimic how Haru felt towards it. All the while, moments during the day that slightly reminded him of Grace crept in, only for him to dismiss them.

He doesn't realize that he's already "fallen" a bit for her, lol.

Man, give Sumire a bone. She was only trying to give you the chance you always wanted. I called it on the enchanted spear. I'd be pretty suspicious if the weapon I'd used for ages suddenly turned into a boom stick. 😂

Pulling out these tragic background stories already. I did wonder where his family was, but now I wish I didn't know. Had hoped he just poofed there like being isekaied. Water and ice magic tho for the little sister - seemed like that should've been the stone monster's weakness. At least, that's what my pokemon instincts tell me. 😂

It's still a question as to why Takao can't use any magic, but it looks like that bridge will be crossed soon. Hopefully, he doesn't have 'Imagine Breaker' powers that just wipes away whatever illusion magic Sumire set up. Though, that would be in line with Touma Kamijou-level unfortunate luck.

At least, Sumire's burninator level is at the minimum right now. 😂

At this point, it's painfully obvious that Sumire just wants to have fun in the human world (at Takao's expense) lol.
I guess you did have something already in the bakery shops (dragon roll). Takao should've embellished all of these dragon references to butter her up some more. Or maybe not, it seems that Sumire can never be satisfied with feeling above everyone. 😂

Takao's misfortune when it comes to magic makes me think of Mashle. With him being an oddity that having no magic makes him the weakest, I have to wonder if there's a reason for it. Since this is supposed to be isekai, my guess is that Takao was isekaied and Earth people have no aptitude for it normally.

Befriending a dragon, where have I heard this before? 😅 Ah, too bad Takao didn't have a bunch of booze on him. Otherwise, Sumire would have ended up as a dragon maid as a bonus. 😂

Thanks for reading the whole thing! Hope you enjoyed this weird, crazy story. It was a blast to write, but that tends to happen because I do a lot of fun stories that have random heavy moments. I was actually able to incorporate a little bit of the scifi that is based on who I work for. (Little do you know, 'IBN' may plant Graces in our heads one day. Best be prepared. 😜😂)
