The moment I heard love spell, my palm instinctively reached for my face.
The shape drawing thing made me think of Full Metal Alchemist, with how people had to draw their spell symbol in order to cast high-level magic, while the lone character in question had the ability to bypass that. But with some hidden cost that tapped into the secret of the world, lol.
