I think it goes to show that if you can't deal with what life throws at you, someone somewhere down the line will repeat the same thing. Problems simply change hands.
That point aside, maybe Sek does need someone beating some sense into him that life isn't all about doing what you want. The way he just dismisses all the issues makes him feel very entitled despite his 'issues'.
Side note, I chuckled a little about developers hiding whole maps. It's like that Free Guy movie.
