Loving this vibe and the subtle hints of more than us being said or shown. Some of the lines are so quick, if the reader isn’t paying attention they’ll miss the reveal or detail. Good stuff friend!

poor Sayane goes through a lot on her journey. but I wanted the opening to be a very grounded perspective on how horrifying being isekai’d would actually be. I feel like realizing you’ve died would already be traumatic, but then to wind up in a brutal, disorienting world would be even worse. and for Sayane’s story, I wanted to avoid any prophecy or chosen one story ideas because I thought it would be more interesting with her having to find her path herself. no ancient book or society expectation on her telling her what to do, just her figuring it out with her allies.
