okay I'm really glad nobody was hurt in that building collapsing.
but this kind of makes me suspect Avery a little more. like maybe she has an agenda she is pursuing but she doesn't want innocent civilians to be hurt along the way.
honestly I hope I'm wrong in suspecting her.
but she did help carry him to safety and the main character is basically like a giant , so does she have powers or something
but other than the fact she is my number one suspect, I still really like her character

hmm.. this was a good chapter and I suspect the mysterious figure might be related to the main villain of The story.
I just really wanted more of the physical description of his transformation. I imagine it's very cool, and I would love to see how his enhanced body interacts with the environment.
