I was firmly on team Mitsuki until this chapter. I am now changing teams and voting yes. This scene was adorable. Also, how can you blame me for this?
This chapter is really sweet. I like to think they went on home together rather than Asami just getting on another train to go back to her regular stop.

Asami is actually very fast, which adds up. For all her difficulties with confidence, I like seeing her doing well!

This has been the strongest chapter of the story so far! The character work is very nice.
I’ve always had a soft spot for chapters about characters’ eating together, their food preferences, etc. I find that it gives a lot of really nice, subtle characterization without being over-explainey, and also is just relatable since sharing food with other people is always awesome. Asami is just adorable in this chapter, and though it’s just a preference, I was finding myself saying “She’s so me” about her dislike of things that are super sweet. (Though I stil have my sweet things I can like.)
This is a sweet introduction to this arc The arc being titled Catnip is rather interesting all things considered, since it leads me to believe the arc itself will be about the ways that catfolk interact with the human world. Similarly we can see how Asami soothes herself by taking on an otherwise human appearance- possibly a nod to the fact that catnip is a soothing agent. Sayuri’s comments and internal monologue within this introduction are sugary sweet, and are fun to read!

Really, fun start. The characters have unique personalities, but I’m still learning to tell them apart. Interested to see where this goes.

I felt like Bubbles needed a happy ending, since she actually has a similar character arc to Fawn's. I wanted them to really mirror each other throughout the story. Both see other people as beneath them at first, but slowly grow to love the people that they have. So, I feel like Fawn's loss is more impactful if Bubbles is allowed to have a happy ending.
