My first readers were really sad when they learned more about the twist in chapter 40.
It was really satisfying letting Shiori run loose, but the Royal power is certainly scary. 😰
I hope the next few chapters that wind down the action while setting up for a sequel are fun and satisfying to read! 😁
I loved writing this chapter, especially because of all the hints and details that needed to be laid down in earlier chapters.
I hope the resolution is satisfying. The Duke is about to get his!
Well, they have to be pretty close for a light telescope to work, otherwise the tone delay would be years. 🤔

"False Flag" mission from the general meets "Mission: Love". Airi won a debate with her arguments, now the stakes are just far higher.
Hopefully the rest of humanity is so easy to convince.
Are Airi's mother and Kenji's dad going to end up together? Not sure if I would dread that...
Everything is going well and then... Mom appears. Classic.
Cool metal melting tech. Kenji to the rescue!
Tell her brother again? Not the first time with these kinds of problems. Can't image how Jade would react to this.

Tsubame is a simple kinda girl: Regardless of the situation, someone owes her cake! 😆
I guess in her mind, Otonashi was so heroic in saving them that he deserves a chance to take two girls to a café! 😂
Ha, I knew it: Mother was tied to hate of humans. Satisfying reveal. I thought you would reveal their home world as S***** in this chapter, especially after the mention of Mars, but perhaps later?
Act 3 final conflict all set up!

Shiori's going to figure it out, but it's too bad that her troubles are only beginning!
I hope reading through the twists and turns is fun.
Shiori's no killer, but man she could have handled that better!
Don't worry, it'll get so much worse before it gets better! 😅
I'm surprised Kenji drank the water. Can the Force manipulate the drug?
I feel vindicated about his mother and the water concerns.
They had their whole culture rewritten in a generation. It's amazing how quickly such things can happen.
I wonder if his father's differently colored eyes (gold, not red) are related to the medicines effects?
Finally a tense confrontation between Airi and a main villain!
Which language are they speaking? Is she good at English? (I noticed English idioms like "cat got your tongue") From their names I assumed the officers are Western, so have they extracted her from Japan?
I'm looking forward to seeing how Airi gets out of this.
