This chapter felt absolutely organically, since you were building up a conflict in the background, like you said. Sadly, I expected something like this like inevitable, it was just a matter of time, considering, how small Hoshimura is.

The strongest point of this chapter was Nia worrying only for Tachibana's reputation while giving zero thoughts about herself. That just proves how much she loves him.

One of the most beautiful confession/first kiss scenes I have ever read! 👏

I was expecting this to happen much later in the story, but my expectations were ruined in a very pleasant way :)
Tachibana and Nitsuki got my full respect for their courage and straightforwardness (+bonus points for Nitsuki for leaving Miss Denial in the past)

Also, just shopping together with someone you like could sometimes be better than any romantic date one can imagine of. What a sweet and nice moment to share for both of them, even if it's nothing really special :3

At some point I really worried that Tachibana would just leave after hearing the truth (not because of being mad or so, just to process thoughts internally). I just wish this to be real and not Nitsuki's vision, because it was a bit unclear from the text alone, how real things are rn
