Karim seems to me to be that one type of a guy who is really awkward/shy in daily communication but when it comes to a fight, he turns out to be the bravest one :)
The concept of a creature using fear to hunt is interesting, even if it is not unique. After reading this chapter I suddenly start thinking of a combat system based on crits and weaknesses but using feelings and emotions (fear, anger, happiness, sympathy etc.) instead of classic nature elements like fire, water, wind, ice. But I understand that this novel is less about fighting :)
And I am still looking forward to see some more proper communication 🙏
Though I understand that a classic "briefing monologue" disclosing all lore and actual situation at once would probably ruin all intrigue.
