The discussion in the beginning reminded me of a famous debate whether catgirls should have one or two pairs of ears 😅 But I never thought about boobs in this way, so Taku made an interesting point, almost philosophical, I would say 😆

I also didn't really get a white room feeling from this, unlike some commentators below mentioned. Does it mean you reworked this chapter already?

I also can't wait to see how Teri will show himself in a real fight. I mean mentally, not physically, first of all. I have no doubt he's a skilled fighter, but I can easilly imagine him going full berserk with all the "darkness in his heart" which probably would scare Taku as hell. Just an assumption, though :)

I feel like Teri now truly regrets his behaviour and doings which led him to his death and now he probably tries to "atone" it in some way through being nice to Taku

I like characters like Youji - seeming brutal and intimidating from their looks but turning out to be nice (?). The dialogue also was a peek of awkwardness, I feel sorry for Isao now

I liked the room description, very picturesque! Taku seems to be a nice guy so far, a bit overenthusiastic though, if I were Teri in this situation, I could probably creep out a bit and keep my distance before knowing this guy better. A good chapter, waiting for next!

Like I said, I have no idea, what the original starting point was or how much was changed, so I am jumping straight into this remaster/remake. My first assumption was that Teri was a part of an organized crime group and got a yakuza-style punishment for quitting the business, but it seems to be more personal than just business. Maybe he betrayed them at some point, idk...

Anyway, I liked the beginning, I'm in looking forward for the next chapters!
