Clever not introducing their names so you could have a four-way conversation. Still really liking the pacing!
Just the right length and an amazingly naturally flowing moonlit scene by the amusement park. It made me warm and fuzzy to read this. Keep it up!

I like the fancy quotation marks. Also the way you described the background behind her death. Very heavy and sad. I can really emphasize with how awful boredom feels when you're sick too. All in all a great start, although the amount of reading I'd have to do to catch up is a bit daunting haha.
Metal needs to hit something to make a sound. But I appreciate the innuendo though and thought the wind hitting his face to be clever. 👍
