Thank the lord. Our main character survived, and so did Karina, infront of her. 😒

Damn. Show some mercy to the grandmother, she has the potential to be the granny from Hoodwinked (2005), lol.

I went through so many emotions in this chapter! You managed to do in one chapter what most anime take their last four, five episodes to achieve. Well done.👍

That's exactly why I like them. They were real, genuine and instantaneous. A reflection of what you truly felt in that moment.

Soul Switch: Transference of a Shut-in

Outside of the beginning and ending of the story that I told you about, the rest of it was simply whatever came to mind on the day I published each chapter. Some days, I would go out and walk for hours, trying to figure out where the story would go next, then come back and finish writing and publishing it at around 4 a.m. every day.

When I decided to add Kael's story, the challenge of managing word count for multiple story arcs came on top of everything else. So when you brought formatting up, I couldn't help but wish I hadn't hesitated so much about joining the competition. If I'd decided earlier, I might've had more time to reread everything and give it those final touches.

If by any chance I make it to the final list, I'll wait before making any edits. But if not, I plan to go back and polish and make it look more beautiful and maybe add a longer version of the epilogue or even add the deleted parts of Earthside chapters.

Right now, though, both my thesis supervisor and advisor are mad at me for not working on and finishing my thesis, so I'm kind of on double duty for that. 😅

I'd like pure horror, but I would like to see how would romance go with this theme.

Mai, thank you for your lovely review. Before this, I didn't know anything about writing a novel. This is all new to me.

The first time I even saw a *** used to change a scene was from the stories I read here. When I saw the email about the competition, I told myself, 'Let's give this a try.' I wasn't expecting anything from it. Just to do it and finish it. Honestly, I never thought anyone would read it, let alone enjoy it.

Your level of engagement, your reactions—they've filled my heart with joy and happiness. All those 60 days of nonstop writing, all the tiredness, melted away the moment I read your comments and review. Thank you so much. I'll take all the criticism you gave to heart and do my best to become a better writer.

I might not win anything, but right now, I already feel like I've won the competition. Thank you. I wish you well in both writing and life. GOOD LUCK🥹
