Chapter 0 already sold me, the festival setup, the announcer hyping them up just for that awkward silence, Marcus and Gus roasting their own Temu outfits… peak. And the whole mead-beer chaos, thunderstorm, sleeping in the beat-up Golf?? Such a fun start before everything goes off the rails.
The contrast between the goofy drinking-buddy vibe and the sudden “oh no, this is not the parking lot anymore” moment at the end was really strong. I’m 100% sure the rest is just as good as the first chapter suggests.
