That café scene hit so hard, the casual, everyday cruelty of the rejection felt even worse than any magical threat. You could feel Koori's pure, innocent confusion turn into that lonely hurt, and it was heartbreaking. Her quiet, trembling "It's unfair..." before the power flickered? Why?
The moment when the contact lenses melted away was such a great visual. It really drove home that no matter how well she tries to blend in, what she is can't be hidden forever. Mitsuki's reaction made me love her. She’s such a good friend already.
