What a nice little twist. Here I had expected the worst but it was still better than expected. Wow what a sharp transition. You gave us a little bit of everything, some flashbacks. Some character explanation and even the introduction of someone new. And then we reach the end and…damn that escalated quickly. I mean that really got out of hand fast!!!

The friendliness and familiarity of the brothers is refreshing since I was anticipating a different tension. But it only further raises questions as to why he was incarcerated. I can’t help but wonder if something happened to the original Felix and he became something otherworldly. A doppelganger of sorts. And they don’t know what he’ll do. But based on the lightness of this story, I doubt it. You definitely have me guessing. Looking forward to more.

Fantastic chapter again. What a wonderful way to show off the magnificent city in such a heartwarming and wholesome way. A day spent travelling around with a child guide is definitely not something I planned on experiencing. It was such a wonderful breath of fresh air. And then to have it all lead to that final moment of realization! Great job.

What a wholesome chapter. I enjoy seeing how naive and optimistic Felix is. It really makes him a likeable character. He just has so much hope and belief that things will work out. Even though he is truly a hero out of time.

Though, I do want to say I’m a little suspicious of this child. The whole thing smells of orphan kid trying to steal someone’s purse. Even though he doesn’t have one! Let’s see where this little side quest takes him!

Ooh, love me some good dream sequences. Great job with that, it really shows that internal struggle that Felix may not even know he’s struggling with. Leaves me thinking about the lost time and what else is lost in there. Who did he leave behind. When he returns, what will he find. Did he forget because of PTSD or was it magical in nature? Very gripping.

And, I mean, who doesn’t love a shopping scene that delivers some fan service. Lol.

Ooh, great start! I love the action of this story and you’ve written some very compelling characters. I like the idea of the big bad, at least initially, being these bugs. Gives you a lot of ways to pivot and add in new enemies.
