The chosen Hero not having a choice is always a tragedy in itself.
I guess Dan's condition is a bix between mental trauma and something more physical? Perhaps tied to whatever the demon lord did to him.

Wiamu must be quite terrible if they can scare an oge.
A meeting in a dream is a classic but the demon prince challenging is father is interesting. Also I find it a nice detail that demons are shorter than humans.
The image of Giorg pulling Dan behind himself while he's sleeping / floating is hilariously comical
Giorg is a great character with an interesting personality. Good to see Dan has decided to fight. But the question is what has the Demon Lord been up to these 15 years? Has he been training and getting stronger or has he gotten lazy in the absence of a threat?
Is it just me or are these demons a little dim witted? They could have encircled Dan and attacked him with projectiles or done any number of things to make more use of their numerical advantage. And Ogres being the good guys is kinda fresh.
Well Dan the dream seems pretty clear to me. Time to pick up the Sword and go kill some demons.

Katherina's time sliding adventures and character study are fun to write but narrative wise I felt we needed a reminder that there is still a threat out there.
So a dungeon huh... He seems to have cleared it using his wit as much as his skill. My favorite as the vines scene. Let's see what the throne means? And where the toxic fumes came from.
A high tension chapter and a good chance to show off some magic. I enjoyed this. I tried to figure out what is in the cave but so far I don't know.

After reading mad Magus and now this I see what kind of story you like to write. It is brutal but there is something to it. And I liked the contrast between the ancient bloodline and the modern weapons, e.g. The solar rifle.
This reminds me of Mad Magus. Using technology and outsmarting a stronger opponent. Nicely done.
