I just couldn't bring myself to finish it with a perfectly neat, happy ending. Part of it is that I always want to leave my endings open for future sequels or expansion, but really, I think I just like giving readers something to think about at the end. It probably would have been more in line with the vibe of the theme if she could get accepted for who she is though.

Correct on both counts. The idea is for the neem oil to destroy the bacteria in the water before drinking it. They’re not gonna chug the oil directly. Of course, it won’t get all the bacteria.

And yeah, not Herat to ingest. Can cause health and pregnancy issues. That’s why grown men only for this plan. But it’s not going to go smoothly, and they’re going to have to experiment with the amounts.
