I couldn't resist going dark at the end, but it's actually caused me some difficulties. I wrote multiple chapters that got way too dark and eventually cut them down into this chapter and the next, which is much lighter and mostly back on the GL drama. It will also be the final chapter. As much as I love the characters and want to explore them more, I think the tonal whiplash was getting to great, and the main story has run its course. It's not really important to the plot to see Sachiko actually kill the head of the State Planning Committee in cold blood.
I also cut out a scene detailing exactly what Yasu did to the former JAXA director. It was mostly just violence porn, but I did lose a bit of character development when the director accidentally gives her good relationship advice. The account Erika relates about Yasu and the bullies is also a full, very long chapter, detailing her bullying, her depression after Hina left the orphanage, the lengths she went to to get noticed by JAXA, and the fight with the bullies. That one I could maybe revise and publish later as an omake.
As for how Hina and Erika adjust to life back on Earth, well, they had some dark content cuts as well, but I don't want to spoil the next chapter.
