Haha as spoken earlier I ended up changing it back to "more than half" for them plot reasons x)

The Smell of Death, it fluctuates! In the beginning, it was overwhelming, in chapter 3, it was very faint. In a way, it comes down to how you interpret it. I do have my own definition of it later on, but again it is one of the elements I prefer it left as a mystery or self-intepretation lol

I think I caught that mistake after you read because it’s been revised shortly after I changed the 98% part in the synopsis. Not sure if I missed it somewhere else in this chapter but I’ll take a look back again! ^u^

Haha, there’s a reason why I left it so vague. I did hinted out it’s an overwhelming scent from the prologue but I’m keeping the details of the scent till much later when a specific plot reveal happens that would tie things back to the foreshadowing of the smell in these chapters. At this time, I’d like to leave it to the readers on their interpretation of what it is, it’s one of the casual elements I prefer others visualize/change on their own until I unravel what it is later. x)
