Glad you think so! The names are a silly and fun way to add some extra characterization in what can often come off as an overwhelming and unfamiliar world.
And to answer your question, Pebblestone was more on a whim. I picked that name because I felt it was a funny contrast to his otherwise southern drill-sergeant persona. Although, now that you mention it... I kinda like the cereal mascot connection 😉
