All I'll say is that it's actually kind of interesting how you're translating Kiro and Ai's dynamic. You might be surprised to see how things'll turn out, so stick around. 😉
The timeskip here is a fascinating direction for the story to go in, looking forward to Mina's inevitable relenting and trying to compete. I really love the way you delved into the bodily feel of the wings these avian hybrids have as a means of exploring their anatomy, and I'm a big fan of the small worldbuilding details like the existence of centaurs (and presumably other hybrid species as well) being slipped in here and there
Nothing like a good ol-fashioned piss-to-pay on a sweltering day, amiright? Jokes aside, the worldbuilding is, as usual, as immaculately detailed as a pet project model train set, and I'm looking forward to see how this notion of corporate bounties ties into the story moving forward :*

ooo thank you ^-^- I've heard people compare it to the Shape of Voice and Odd Taxi before, but Beastars does make sense as a comparison too with how the monster-folk interact with their environment through Kiro's eyes, good point. Not gonna lie, I did not expect this chapter to end so soon, but I'm looking forward to find out what purpose Miieie will serve as class rep in this battle school ^-^
I must admit, it's definitely a bit convenient for Miieie, Rel, and the others to all share a room, but I'm not complaining. Big fan of the badass oneesan that Rel is shaping up to be. Love that they underestimated her speed because of her height in the fight too haha
