Nothing stupid there. Just something I would have to think about before answering or maybe an interesting point (I also kind of thought you were just keeping my joke rolling).
If I would answer properly, then it would be: Gods tend to be petty in mythology, but I see them as more of a force of nature than as anything, so pettiness becomes even harder to define. Like, you can't say gravity is petty for not letting you fly, right? But it's still hard to not curse it when the thing makes something fall for no apparent reason.
Either way, karma is a bitch.
