Oh wow what a great comment to get a notification for! First off, thank you for giving it a chance and reading despite your hesitation! Second off, I'm really glad you caught the Rengo Sekigun reference, although I'm not Japanese I am a sucker for historical events. I liked the idea of a rule abiding principal who once fought against the system standing against a young man currently in the process of subverting that system. Give's them a little bit of a connection that I think will play an important roll going forward. As for the romance, when I started writing this story it was for a MAL x honeyfeed contest that where the prompt was romantic comedy, I only ever did action stuff before this so I figured I'd go about it a little differently and really put more emphasis on the comedy aspect of the story. Obviously I didn't win, but I found myself really wanting to reach a proper ending for Tani and the other characters, so I just recently started writing again. The romance will eventually get there, but I'll have you know that even to where I'm at now no one has made out yet lol. It's been fun writing and drawing again, and I just recently drew a doozy of a picture and posted it in my gallery if you wanna check it out! Thank you again for commenting, I don't think readers know how motivating it is as an author of a relatively unheard of story to hear from a real person who's read it
