Yep, my worst fears came true. This relationship is definitely toxic. It's like she's holding him with a leash. Ai wants Kiro all to herself, which is in fact, selfish. She doesn't even consider to give the monsters a chance. This is all due to her insecurities and close mindedness. And Kiro is too submissive to talk back for his friends. They just aren't ready for a relationship.
Both of them are too afraid of losing each other, which solidifies my symbiotic relationship theory. They're honestly just leeching off of each other. That's the hard truth.
The best relationships are composed of two independent open-minded people, you know? 😉
