In my opinion, it seems kind of unfair that she gets compared to Allen especially that she's a girl. Girls are biologically weaker than boys in physical capabilities, so it should be understandable that she wouldn't be able to outperform her brother. When it comes to sports, it doesn't really make sense to compare males and females. It's like saying NBA is better than WNBA.
Nevertheless, this would serve as a huge obstacle for Shannon and it will be interesting to see how she can surpass her prodigious brother despite all the disadvantages she has.
