I'm against the fourth bonus consideration on this test.
I would say giving up and accepting the fate of the outcome is quite a useful skill in real life, kind of like the "It is what it is," or the "Just deal with it," mentality.
In life, there will always be impossible situations that we can't control. Students have to learn to accept that they can't always force things or win in life.
What matters is how you handle the stress, so I wouldn't really say that giving up is a completely bad thing.
Just as Lao Tzu once said, life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.
