I love the idea of battles in mind arenas/Domains (heh) so incorporating it in a game was really cool.

Liked the narration, awesome setup.

CREO: Game of Creation

Chapter:1

Nov 08, 2022

I have been in situations where I woke up in an unfamiliar bed and I panicked before I realized where I was. Poor kid is going through the same thing.

Demon Lord Royale: The Mage Tower

I wanted to say that this was fantastic from beginning to end. Philosophical, but not too navel-gazing and not too preachy. The world that you constructed felt alive. Did you read any classic sci-fi before writing this? It seems like it.

The appearance of Psalm 8 is always a welcome surprise, is that where you got the motto from?

I really like the prose here- it's straightforward and not flowery, but it still gets the information across. It's exactly the kind of way I tend to write (which is why I'm a bit biased toward similar-sounding works, lol)

I've just gotta say, I really like your writing style. It's dynamic and individualized and I never had any problems figuring out what was going on (for someone like me whose first-person tends to devolve into play-by-play, it blows me out of the water). I could tell exactly what the main character was like by reading it and there were a lot of unexpected references and jokes that made me laugh out loud.

At the same time, I feel like there's a lot more to this story and this interesting setting that I wanted to see answered. I guess that's the problem when you're working with a limited amount of words. Sometimes it got so criminally horny that it was kind of hard to follow the themes you wanted to present, as well.

That said, great read.

If Theodore can't learn magic, at least he can start his harem here.

Demon Lord Royale: The Mage Tower

Chapter:32

Hmm, the mages sequestering Theo in a place where he can't actually learn enough magic to be dangerous is pretty clever, even though it seems kinda cruel for a kid who wants to learn.

Heh, once you get to high school Reika and her crew actually do have some power, but she's too busy goofing off to use it. 😂

Overall, I liked this little escapism-trashing parody.

I mean, there's not a lot of his friends and family who are socially well-adjusted, lol. You'll understand why his mom panicked so bad shortly.
