Alright, there are no words I can say to tell you how much I liked this book. This short story really captivated me, and it's rare for something to catch my attention so well that I actually want to read it through in one go. That's the point of a short story I suppose, but this one just hit a little different.
I'll say it again, I think the message here was really inspiring. The idea that the magnum opus isn't found in perfection or practice, but rather in the process of pouring out the heart, is just beautiful. I think that Joris learning that at the end felt very right, and I like the little splash of humor where he just kinda' plays with the violine like a child.
As for the format of each chapter, the best way I have to describe it is going up a hill. The first chapter is the climbing action that sets your expectations high. The second was the peak where we see the best view of the whole world in every direction. While the third was the walk back down where we mulch over what we learned. I think the second chapter definitely feels special, so yes, I will unironically call it "Peak."
Anyways, I think I've made my point, so that's all from me for now. Very nice work on this!
