An epilogue is definitely something I've been considering. Initially I had a whole other arc planned to let some reveals breathe more naturally and expand on some things, but I ran into time issues due to not being able to write on my month-long holiday. So, I ended up having to rush them back to the shrine for the finale, to leave me with a bit of editing time. It's a good lesson going forward about spacing reveals, and wrapping things up better in a volume.

I also felt the paragraph on love was too long, but I couldn't find a good place to split it, and I didn't want to interject with other dialogue or thoughts. I'll think long and hard about how to fix that.
"love is the strongest power" is a cliché as old as time, but I like a good cliché from time to time 😅

A full closed ending that wraps everything up was practically impossible with the scope of this world, but I hope the ending to this volume will leave you somewhat satisfied. I'm definitely planning on coming back to On the run in the future for a second and perhaps a third volume.

The first part of the chapter was pretty cute, with toned down edginess, but the "saving people from death" schtick is getting old. This is the second time in 7 chapters that someone was saved from getting ran over by a truck.
