Oooh, we're going full Shonen and Qi setting here? Well, I do enjoy myself a good shonen adventure every now and then!! :D
Akito, our standard protagonist, appears with the cliche toast!! Even the cliche praryer to the father's portrait too. Friends with the iin-cho (Class Prez) too? Check. Foreign exchange student? Check. Student council, popular kids, athletes...looks like we've got all the standard groups!
And now, all these usual types are about to become "heroes" in another world. And I get the feeling it's not going to be as easy as they think... 🤭
Curious to just ask now at the beginning (before I get too far), just what is the violence level of this story? I'm not very good at reading horror or gore, and I know the story description says they're thrown into a world that is "cruel, bloody, and dangerous." 🤔 If we're talking Naruto-level injuries and deaths, I usually have no problem with that, but if we're talking more full-horror like Attack on Titan -- or death-trauma like Grimgar -- then I might not be as able to read, just for personal reasons 🙏
