Just another day at work, as the Eldritch Gods send more paperwork and world breakers her way!! xD And Claire sending you Hot Singles ads! As the people beyond fate and time do.
POOCHY IS TOTALLY STEALING BABA'S TREATS. I can confirm. Poochy will be protected and we will love him forever. I was going to just have him be a one-off event to make this scene a bit brighter, but everyone is loving him so much I think Poochy will have to return. (And maybe befriend Toren? Cat Boy and Dog Friend?)

I realize this chapter goes a bit more fantastical and crazy than my previous, but I really wanted the World Breakers to feel "otherworldly" and "chaotic neutral" more than any kind of rigid godly system or anything. So, things got a bit crazy!! x)

What do you mean there aren't supposed to be Eldritch Terrors and Lap Pillow Fantasies in the same chapter? 👀 ⭐ ✨ (Jun was totally thinking about that Claire lap pillow.)

The foreshadowing about Claire's magic is folded into the chapters early on, each section revealing a little bit, leading up to this. I realized I'd teased a lot at Claire's magical powers, and needed to address them properly! The fact that she can isekai people across worlds and summon WacDonalds from anywhere was starting to stand out, especially when so far in Farelle, there hasn't been much magic at all 🤣

Roki casually just raising "I'm not an elf" flags 👀 I swear Mia's letting him get away with it, when most other characters wouldn't.

Honestly, I wanted to include more of Jun's backstory sooner, but never found a good place to fit it in the narrative until now. I wanted to show just a little of the home life that made him who he is, and explain why he's so impulsive and a bit blinded to reality. It's a light characterization (I don't want to go overboard and give Jun a giant trauma-dump background 😆 he's mostly a normal guy) but I realized we needed to know a little more about Jun <3

🙏 It's so true. I thought about writing their fight scene and then realized...the reader can already guess how Mia and her dad's conversation will go. There's no need to show it, and bring the scene down with that. Better to focus on the more interesting part!! Like screaming at bamboo 🤣

Yeah, I have considered putting a "shoujo" tag on this story, but I'm not quite sure if it really qualifies? It's on the borderline. I'm not going to go full "magical roses and ikemen sparkles" like the Rose of Versailles, but there's still a shoujo theme (certainly more than shonen at least.)

Strong execution is where I try to stand out!! and make a twist on some usual plot elements / cliches. The culprit might've been a bit obvious (since there's only so many characters) but I tried to put a spin on it~ 👍

Oooh we're getting some characterization on Kujo? 🤔 I'm curious if this Yakuza ring will be returning maybe later in the story! If we ever return to Earth.

But Kujo kidnapping his own wife and kid is not cool 😱 and Tanaka couldn't "save his own kid" ??? 😭😭 Oh no did Tanaka have a child once 🥺

Just a heads up for the competition one of the requirements is "wholesome" and I'm a bit worried the violence in this scene might be outside that, but I'm not sure 🤔
