A vast gathering of NPCs...curious 🧐 an attack huh? Captain Alaric definitely seems like a quest giver NPC in this situation, but things aren't quite following the usual video game narrative. Especially not with the poor mayor losing a hand 😭

But giant beasts previously unseen in the game? Sounds like a part of the new update 😁 still wondering if all this is still a very elaborate video game patch 😂

Yuta still trying to deny that they're his friends 😭 one day, maybe, he'll realize? Or maybe grades really do mean more to him? Yuuto and Kaori just casually channeling their sixth sense (parental sense? 🤔) But thankfully Haruhi is there to overhear the plan to check on him!

It seemed like Sumi had a decently good time at least 🥺 it means Haruhi won't have to awkwardly avoid Sumi at school. So he did succeed on that front!!

But omg the granny and the crazy taxi might be one of my favorite background bits of this whole novel 🤣 I'd like to believe that was Madam Claire in disguise 😏

Oooh learning more about Hanako!! Having gone to an arts school that totally crushed my creative spirit, I feel for her so much 😭😭😭 Though here the bullying is what's hurting Hanako the most 💔 I cannot believe what hina said!!

The intro was lovely and serene, maybe one of your most wonderfully written descriptions yet 🌌 (a quiet contrast to shiraito's opening last chapter, hehe 🤭)

I could just hear the gentle little splash as the lanterns slipped into the water...and Takashi's hand slipped into Nao's 🤝
Then a promise of forever 💕 with the lights to guide them back together, no matter the distance 🥹

But Nao doesn't want him to go 😭😭😭

Hiroshi suggesting a picture like the absolutely brilliant friend he is 📷 a picture to keep the memory forever! One of Takashi and Nao, then Hiroshi & Jun in the mix...then of the team!!! 😁 Gosh if I could draw the whole tsuno team, that is such a picture-perfect moment!!! 💕

Now just hold on Nao 😉 hold on until Takashi can get a sports scholarship to a university in Takachiho 💐❤️❤️❤️ (or maybe they'll find a university in Tsuno!!)

Toren is hitting our hearts right in the feels 😭💔 even he's starting to change a bit, being around Roki and Mia, and realizing things aren't as simple as just "punch the stuff you want to go away." (Though Toren would do very well in a shonen 👀)
Just when you forgot about it. Juuuust when you didn't think I was going to bring back the joke. THAT'S when the mob character kid strikes!! 🤣🤣🤣 I debated leaving that out, but I ended up liking the inclusion to help balance the emotional oof of this chapter.
One of my writing goals was to try to make sure none of my characters ended up too one-note, and so far Mia ended up a bit generic due to plot demands 😆 hoping to shift that a bit here, and show some fighting spirit!!
Claire will be quietly watching for a bit 😉 but just you wait. The best girl about to have A MOMENT when she gets back ❤️

Sometimes, what seems perfect in description, doesn't mean it's perfect for the person in question 🤭 Katsu's story and mine happen to be hitting on this topic at a similar time, but I still feel like it's a good lesson to have in a romance story 💕
I want Mia to stand up on her own as a character, since I know she's (somewhat) been characterized the least, despite being the reason for the whole story 🤣 the truth is, she's the hardest character for me to write, but I don't want that to hold her back!!
Things are getting close to bubbling over here on the romance front 👀 just a few more nudges~

You are totally correct in your assessment there! Mia doesn't really know Jun as a human. And Jun is still thinking about his ex-girlfriend (Amamiya) instead of Mia. So although they might like each other, their love is currently on separate tracks!! They'll both have to face this problem eventually!
And as for Claire's mystery, well...you'll just have to keep reading for that one~ That's a question that will slowly unveil over the whole story, right up to the end! ❤️

😆 I knew you would pick up on the flower meanings!! I don't use flower comparisons too much in my writing, but I try to leave a few hints here and there~ 😉 I thought those two flowers were really perfect for this scene, both visually and in their representation.
Claire is only capable of making the spark: making the romance last is up to Jun!! (Thus, the title hehe.)
I try to keep humor throughout the whole novel!! I want reading this to be fun! Things will get more dramatic as the story goes on, but I hope it'll be a nice blend of comedy-drama-romance in the end 🤣
