I finally slowed down for a minute to show off some description Usually the word count means I focus mostly on dialogue and events, but I knew the festival was time to bring out some of my description skills!!

My romance plots always have to go through a little heartbreak first 💔 😉 so they can return with devotion even better than before!! We have to miss a few goals before that final game-winning kick! ⚽

The festival chapters are something I've been looking forward to since the beginning! So I'm really excited to get to share them with you all!!! 🤩

You spoil me, you speedy reader!! I haven't gotten the chance to read your chapter yet, but it's the next thing on my to do list, because you all treat me so nicely with all your comments 🥹
I realized (a little late) that a small village would not exactly have rooms to support a giant festival. THUS! The rich shall CAMP!!! Mwahahaha! (In their fancy trailers, because of course they have fancy trailers 🤣)
I wanted to hint a little bit about Mia and Toren's background, since they were childhood friends. I have all these little stories between them in my head, but not quite any place to fit them in the story...but smol Mia with scissors needed to be included ✂️😤 I wasn't about to let that get edited out!!
Claire is literally living the LIFE. I mean, it's in eternal solitude, but she's got food, wifi, infinite worlds of entertainment...I might've, uh, made her confinement a little too nice 😭 but I regret nothing, I'm giving her all the nice things!! (supermarket inflation is the silent killer of my wallet. RIP potato chips. I haven't bought them in over a year now because they've tripled in price from what they used to be, I swear.)

Yep, yep ❤️ you see right into my characters 😤 Mia's definitely sensing that Roki/Jun is different than before -- and maybe feeling that he isn't as love-stuck as he used to be. And Mia grew up on hard work & dedication 💪 taking advantage of people isn't in her style!!
I'm glad you like Mia, because I freaking love the strong female cast in your writing (Diane ❤️❤️❤️) and I'm working on trying to write characters like that myself! I actually have a bit of a difficult time writing female cast 🥲 so this has been both practice and a challenge for me!!

Roki always had this generous side to him (buried under being a very impulsive baka 🤣 and slightly a bit too headstrong due to his upbringing) and I'm glad I had the chance to show it. You're right, he is kind of the type to get maybe...a little too attached to helping/liking someone, even if he doesn't really love them. (The tunnel vision strikes again!) But I've got some plans to help him realize that selfless generosity isn't always the answer~ 👀

(Okay not quite how the scene went 🤣 but still~)

Loving that Souma isn't buying into this shifty isekai experience. So far he's been dropped into a room, given text on a screen, and then granted one magical ability. That's it. Pretty sparse and lacking in interaction, and whoever sent him decided to bring along nearly 20 "back ups" too. I wouldn't trust that set up either!

Excited to learn more about Selina ❤️ she seems absolutely amazing already!!

Dia is precious and I'm glad both Daren and Candace want to protect her 💕 (also the daisies were just so cute 🤭)

Hmm...Candace sure doesn't like Erika does she? Not sure if the dislike extends to Marcel too, or if it's just Erika 🤔 curious about this. Candace wouldn't provoke them without reason!

I can see why Marcel's words made Daren angry, but Marcel still seems like a good guy too 😭 he's just upset that Candace keeps attacking him and his fiance. Glad Eldan stepped in!!

Eldan and Jared though? Hmmmm~? 😏 Hmm? 💕

Continuing to try to talk to Candace seems like a good choice. She might not give clear answers yet, but Daren has to keep trying. Eventually, they might understand each other ❤️
