Also, I've never heard about Tanabata before, so you might consider explaining it briefly. After a quick Google search, I can confirm I've seen it in anime before, but it was always translated in the subs and dubs.

I feel that we are wrapping up an essential arc of the story, and it's genuinely satisfying. I'm not expecting to see too much of Mia and Toren further on. So maybe the narrative will take an entirely different direction and focus more on Roki and Claire?

I can see some more plotlines developing with the coming of this festival. The lords that accused Mia and her father of such things in the past might retaliate again. As for Roki, I'm not sure if he's just trying to be nice or if he has actually taken a liking to Claire in another sense 🤔

OMG, when did we even get to entry #63 😆😆😆😆 did I miss three sequels or smth? Well, at least Roki learned a lot of new things, which is good for our boy.

It took me a while to appreciate Mia as a character, especially since I didn't really like her in the first place, but she's evolving nicely into the type that speaks her mind and works hard to get what she wants, so I find myself cheering for her.

Come to think of it, the entire "cut the hair" thing was so much drama from Roki. He could have just asked Claire for money; it's not like she couldn't afford to buy as many houses as she wanted in the first place. But it WAS dramatic 😆

And that girl... that little girl with her mother... I'm starting to imagine them as Anya and Yor Forger, and it makes it even funnier 😆😆

I love that Roki decided to think of Claire as the first thing when waking up. I don't take it as him getting in love with Claire (at least, not for now), but as a genuine concern for her and out of gratitude that she helped him out—which you know by now that it concerned me quite a bit, considering my comment on the previous chapter.

And now the end of the chapter... ok, I need to take a deep breath, drink a cup of water first... just a sec... ok, so... where I even start... I was expecting a plot twist; it just came at the most unexpected moment and with the most out-of-the-box twist. I was expecting Claire to be a God, but this explanation... she's like Megumin on steroids 😆 It reminds me more of Haruhi Suzumiya, but I'm glad Claire is much wiser and mature.

I keep feeling that Claire is heavily being taken advantage of, and people don't even care to appreciate what she's doing for them. It felt like a breath of fresh air that Roki considered to thank her, finally, after an excruciating 3 to 4 chapters of wait. And yes, I was becoming increasingly concerned that Roki might accidentally act ungrateful and hurt Claire's feelings.

Now I feel sorry for now having a bamboo forest in my city as well, haha 😆

Now, it is surprising to see Mia getting angry, as she seemed peaceful, always trying to stay composed. But I think there is a time and place for the calmest people to get angry as well, and I believe you picked the right time for her, so good job.

But going back to bamboo, I'm considering buying land and filling it with bamboo, and for a $5 ticket, people could yell there for an entire hour. That might become a successful business.

I remember someone in the previous chapter's comments predicted it was the father, lol, and I had a hard time believing that. Honestly, I thought it had to do with Toren mentioning someone else and his secret, so I thought Toren might have his own sorceress that poised the trees to act against Clair and Roki. I might still be true about that but in a different way 😆
