Akio turned from a a boring, grumpy asshole to a genuinely interesting guy and I'm rooting for him. God known how on earth did he get in this situation in the first place =))) did he maybe have a crush on her from before chapter 1? I don't think so. Then is it just a genuine sudden crush? =)))

I dunno what's worse... the fact that Shinichi is cringey even by Akio's standards or the fact that you have 3 office workers in Japan and neither can afford a freaking Uber 🤣

Anyway, Akio has a crush on the wrong person and he's in for some temporary disappointment 🤣 If Shinichi gets to have a crush in Akio, we'll be full circle. Until proven wrong, I still think Shinichi might be into men (or both) 🤣

Whoah, I'm very skeptical about this guy—I think him capable of anything from blackmail to manipulation to actually liking her and doing this because he has a secret crush. I have no idea what he's up to, but I'm so looking forward to find out.

BTW, your writing style is very direct and simple, almost mechanical, like clockwork, and I haven't read anything of the sort in years. What's even more interesting is that you really make it work because of the way you use the hidden tension you generate through the little meanings of each action and gesture. I love it!
