Congratulations on finishing.
I think what really sold the Haruichi ship for me was the fact that there wasn't a serious competitor to the ship. Some might say that's a shortcoming, but I think it is a good thing for this story. Funnily enough, I usually hate the trope of "forced to be in a relationship but then becoming official". Of course that's usually when the story has multiple viable candidates to win and has a plot centered around which girl will win.
This story was a cute story about two otakus giving themselves the courage they needed to be themselves and realizing their feelings for each other. That's probably why I enjoyed it so much.
