When I got to the line 'village elf', I had a funny thought. If you replaced every 'elf' with 'idiot', the story becomes ridiculously funny.

Been a while since someone's mentioned NHK. I can't deny that some of the incentive was to go into how deep someone's mentality could dive, for better or worse.
